I'm currently a photojournalism major at The University of Southern Mississippi. I spend the majority of my time editing and capturing my photos. I have a passion for photography that runs back to when I was a little girl. As far back as I can remember I've had a camera in my hands. My father introduced me to photography very early on in life, he also shares a passion for photography.  We have spent many hours exploring the fields and lakes of Mississippi capturing the vast wildlife in this beautiful state. My passion is lifestyle and nature photography, but I have done my fair share of senior portraits and engagement sessions. The beautiful thing about photojournalism is the ability to tell a story without words, I tell my story through my camera lens. I also have experience in the newspaper industry through working on the University of Southern Mississippi and Jones College's student newspapers. I served as a photographer, writer, photography editor and online editor on the Radionian Staff at JC. I'm currently a photographer, writer and social media editor for the Student Printz at The University of Southern Mississippi.
